It soon became clear that this family is a real Arnhem family. Almost all relatives that I have found come from the city or surroundings of Arnhem.

He is born around 1630 in Warbeijen Griethausen [Dld] and died in 1702.

He married Christina Backs.

In the various spellings of the surname, all kinds of variants have surfaced: Rijsewijk, Rijzewiek, Riswick, Rijswick, Rijswijck.
